The conference aimed at presenting the latest studies, practices, and experiments in the field of employing technology in education and learning locally and globally, and rebuilding theoretical concepts in a practical scientific way by linking information and analysis through critical thinking and scientific research skills and through employing the latest electronic, communication, and technological systems. It also discussed the future of the world after the pandemic in the next normal.

The conference’s three main themes are experiences and practices in learning and teaching in light of the Corona pandemic, a future vision for e-learning in light of digital transformation, and e-learning under the sustainable development goals.

He also stated that the conference aspires to contribute to the advancement of education in Palestinian universities through discussing the latest studies in the field of employing technology in teaching and learning locally and globally.

Prof. Zeid announced during his speech that the University has been ranked 1st in Palestine, 7th ‎in the Arab World and among the best 200 Universities in the world in the 2022 Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings, which assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
