Being among the participants of the pilot projects integrating ICT in higher education in Palestine (RUFO and QIF), I developed a huge interest in this domain. It took a large space of my MA and PhD researches.

Moreover, I use Tools such like Moodle, social networks…etc. to let students learn differently and thus be more self- reliant in their learning process of French Language, knowing that if we limit their exposure to this rarely spoken language (in Palestine), we limit their acquisition and perfection of it.

One of the language courses I taught and that has been evaluated as a blended course was “Oral comprehension and expression 2’’ of French language. I have developed it gradually on Moodle, thanks to the E-learning Center team for all their constant technical help and support.

Beside the openness to various resources of French language, my aim was to empower learners to be able to shift from receptive and directive method of learning to an active and individualized one. It allowed students to keep contact with language through audio and audiovisual material. The course enhanced their expression through the discussion forums, wiki glossary; and various on line assignments.

I’m willing to develop more full blended courses as long as they provide the desired added value.

Finally, one thing we must keep in mind: ICT integration in higher Education is a TOOL and not an AIM.
