CELT was my first experience with designing a blended course, but since I have designed 3 other course on the E-learning platform.

At the beginning, I was hesitant to continue, as I felt it will not be an easy experience, but as all the world is now changing to digital and electronics are taking the place of most things, even in socialization, I preferred to take on the challenge and to have the experience and it was an amazing one.

I learned to design the course but it was not easy. It took time to design and to select appropriate learning materials related to different types of assignments.

E-learning requires more than a traditional learning session. Displaying the related learning materials for students or having discussions requires more and more time for design as it is about the interaction between students, and how they can work together and interact even after the session. In addition it is about involving all students in the session in an interactive positive way through participation in not only the related activities, but making them take responsibility for their learning by motivating them to discover and search.

It is also about sharing the responsibility of learning and teaching with the students.  They have access to the whole course starting from the course description and related intended learning objectives, to the different assignments and related different learning materials. It is also about keeping all up to date and using the most recent information through changing the related learning materials.

The experience was interesting, amazing and a useful one, through which I did not only learn and use new approaches in the teaching-learning process, but developed and had new opportunities to find different ways and useful methods to be used in the teaching-learning process.
